You probably have a lamp row or column driver that has shorted on. This will cause an entire set of eight lamps to stay lit ... usually they will be about 75% bright, and go to 100% when they're supposed to light. Check the TIP102s and TIP107s in the lamp circuitry on the power driver PCB. Likely one is shorted. My bet is a TIP102 ... when the 107's short, you usually get an *insanely* bright set of eight lamps due to the resulting failure of the LM339's voltage control action (it can't cut the current off if it can't control the TIP107). - Jonathan SPAM filter engaged - remove spam munge when you reply ! -- jdeitch@litz.spamsucks.org | Go Braves !!! | "I hate it when I can't trust | Play Pinball !! | my own technology!" - LaForge http://www.litz.org |------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------' "Thrills!
